Join Ruby Kim for a half-day workshop (including Steve's sumptious tropical lunch special) on the banks of the beautiful Baru River.
You will learn the basics of weaving and take home a one-of-a-kind creation made with your own hands. Along with the knowledge and skills to continue creating on your own.
Ruby Kim has lived and worked in close harmony with the plant kingdom for over thirty years as organic gardener and farmer, as weaver and plant artist, and as a sought-after teacher. Her work has appeared in Pacific Northwest Galleries for three decades.

• Tropical yoga classes M-W-F 6:30am/1000 colones
-a varietal blend of Hatha Yoga, Tai Chi Chuan, Pranayama & Aikedo- the emphasis is on pranic breathing and stretching.
-Private sessions by apppointment -$10/hour
• Pranic assisted Massage Therapy - by appointment -$25/hour
-traditional Swedish -deep tissue -reflexology -stretch therapy
...all bodywork includes pranic breathing and pranic energy cleansing

I inherited a tradition of healing from my father who was trained in Traditional Swedish Massage by his father. My grandfather was a boxing trainer and massuer from Clyde Bank, Scotland. I later trained and worked as a massage therapist and weight trainer at Lloyd's Gym & Spa in Aspen, Colorado. Further studies included yoga, massage, reflexology and prana theraby with Hawaii's McKenzie Institute for Traditional Chinese Medicine followed by Kriya Yoga training and initiation at the Self-Realization fellowship retreat center in Encinitas, California (known as 'Swami's' among southern California surfers). From 1980 to 1997 I served as an Oregon Certified EMT II and Firefighter with the Powers Rural Fire and Rescue Service.
