This Green Season is particularly special for wildlife, for flora and fauna, because climate change allows trees and plants to produce more food, which in turn benefits birds and animals of the region. We can also admire the great immigration of a variety of birds from other continents to this lush region.

It is also special for kayak tours to mangrove swamps or rapids where we can observe more of our wildlife, including crocodiles!
At Club Fred we are privileged to be located in one of the most biologically diverse places on Earth, in the jungle very close to the beach and the Rio Terraba (the largest river in Costa Rica), with BREATHTAKING VIEWS of Isla Garza, El Terraba, the great Pacific Ocean, Isla Cano and Bahía Drake.

This season begins in May and goes all the way up to November with approximately two weeks of summer at the beginning of July, which in Costa Rica is called “Verano de San Juan” or “Canícula”.

For this occasion Club Fred also offers 3 BRAND NEW CABINS WITH OVERLOOKING VIEWS OF THE TALAMANCA MOUNTAIN RANGE.

Each cabin has two rooms, private bath, hot water and kitchen. One of the cabins has A/C and wheelchair access for the handicapped. Ideal for short stays or long periods. Ask for our special prices!
