Alma de Hatillo provides comfortable accommodations to independent travelers who want to discover the tropical paradise of Costa Rica. Your host Sabina speaks English, Spanish, and Polish fluently, and French and Russian passably.
Location~
The property is located on the Central Pacific Coast of Costa Rica. It is 6 km north of the surfing town of Dominical, and 35 km south of Quepos. We are 3 km away from Hacienda Baru, a National Wildlife Refuge that offers a wide variety of rain forest tours & activities. Alma de Hatillo is just a 25-minute walk, or five minute drive, to a spectacular 10 km-long beach. We are located at the south end of the village of Hatillo. We are distinguished by a large red hibiscus hedge on the east side of the road through the village. There is a gas station 3 km south on the road to Dominical and several local places to eat all within 2 km.
Facilities
Guests of Alma de Hatillo stay in the two-bedroom cottage with full kitchen or in one of eight well appointed rooms, B & B style. Clustered into three cabins, the rooms are conveniently located between the pool and dining room. Located at the edge of the forest, across a beautiful brook, is the yoga platform.
Alma de Hatillo is ideal for group bookings, such as yoga retreats, executive getaways, running clinics, and photography workshops.
Facilities in the Cabins
In each room, guests will find custom-made bamboo furniture and original artwork. You will enjoy a private bathroom with hot shower, and a ceiling fan that will keep you cool through the night. The rooms also feature a mini-fridge, coffee maker, utensils and dishes. Microwaves are available as well. You can enjoy your freshly brewed morning coffee, or an evening tea on the cabin’s shared veranda.
Each morning guests will be treated to a continental breakfast of local fresh fruit & fresh-squeezed juices, excellent Costa Rican coffee, toast & our home made preserves. There is an outdoor barbecue available for fresh caught fish or other such meats.
