Surfing is a pleasure in Playa Dominical, Costa Rica (South Central Pacific Coast).

Playa Dominical offers beautifully expansive, palm lined beaches. Our establishment is situated a mere 100 meters from town. We have un-crowded waves right out in front to have fun with! Lefts and rights, both beginners and experienced surfers are at home here.

The clean, warm surf is consistent and constant (everyday) in Dominical. An excellent place to learn, we start the beginners off in the white water and people with a little more experience can surf in the medium-sized reformed waves, while the more surf savvy go for the outside big waves. Often found are hollow sections to thrill; dramatic take-offs to charge; surfer girls; surfer guys; glassy walls; 3 or 4 foot nose-rider faces; migrating dolphins, bat rays, and pelicans; and all the delicious fish one could eat. I get stoked just thinking about it.

Dominical is a tranquil place where you can find persons of the entire world. You can also explore the unique other places around Dominical. We have canyons with big waterfalls in the virgin jungle you can get to know. There are quiet beaches where you can enjoy surf with your new or old friends. Parties, dancing, beach exploring, whatever you like.

Here, surfers come from many countries. While it's easy to get by with English here in Dominical, it's always nice to speak Spanish when able. To this end I've written out some words to get you started speaking words about surfing.
